The present utility model relates to a formulation for aromatic brown rice chips consisting of 34.18% (w/w) of aromatic brown rice, 22.98% (w/w) of water, 14.65% (w/w) of all-purpose flour, 12.98% (w/w) of butter, 4.90% (w/w) of oil, 2.87% (w/w) of powdered salted egg, 2.87% (w/w) of skimmed milk, 2.45% (w/w) of baking powder, and 0.40% (w/w) of salt. The aromatic brown rice chips are flavored with salted egg to make it more nutritious and palatable. It is high in carbohydrates, minerals and essential amino acids from the brown rice and added vitamins from the salted egg. It also has low moisture content and water activity available for microbial growth. It passed safety standards and free from harmful bacteria making it safe for human consumption. It is a healthy alternative source of snacks and has a shelf life of 6 months suitable for distribution during calamities.
